2 yearsDidn’t know the number so I just let it ring out.2 yearsThis was definitely a scam, be careful!2 yearsNormally I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but for some reason I did today. At first there was complete silence, then the call was passed on to a call centre, which sounded like it was based in India because the bloke on the other end had an Indian accent. He wanted to speak to me by name, but I stayed quiet. When I asked who was calling, I couldn’t make out what he said. He kept trying to confirm my identity. I told him I wouldn’t give that info, then ended the call and blocked the number, although I’m sure they use plenty of different ones.India2 yearsGot another call from Tyne area, but the person on the line had an Indian accent. Picked up the phone and suddenly...click...it switched over to an Indian call centre. It was about some home improvement thing again. I just played along to waste their time and then they ended the call. Just blocked yet another number from Tyne around here on my phone.Tyneside2 yearsGot a call from some dodgy people trying to get my bank info. Total scam!2 yearsKeep gettin these calls about some drainage protection thing. The weird part is, they use loads of different numbers, so blocking them just ain’t workin. Proper annoying!2 yearsOnce again, the answering machine had no message, just some voices I could barely make out in the background.2 yearsTotal scam! They kept banging on about some drainage cover costing me £200 each year. Of course, they were after my bank info. Definitely dodgy, no way am I falling for it.2 yearsSCAM alert. I got a call from two ladies jabbering nonsense about some sort of Drain Cover renewal for like 12 minutes straight. They threw out two different names and even gave me three different addresses! Seriously, this has gotta be the dumbest scam call I’ve had in ages. Their English was awful, and they clearly didn’t get what I was saying back to them. Totally clueless.2 yearsGot another call from some scammers, they were after my credit card info again.Submit Your Own Report (0191 828 1983)
