Got a call from a bloke in India causing me quite a bit of hassle. Said something about housing disrepair and phishing claims, but sounded dodgy to me.

So I looked up 01918281979 on Google and found out it’s actually being used by scammers. Apparently, some dodgy outfit overseas is exploiting this phone service to flood people with spam calls and unwanted messages. Definitely dodgy and best to avoid answering any calls from this number!

I got a ring from a woman saying she was calling on behalf of some consumer firm. Didn’t hang about, just ended the call right away.
