It was a PPI firm calling. They claimed they were sending me forms I'd supposedly requested. I told them I never asked for any forms at all. They accused me of lying since they had my address. The woman was really rude. I asked to speak to her manager and she just swore at me and ended the call.

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up. I just blocked it, only to get another call right after from 0161 503 2081, which was already on my blocklist. Seems like it’s probly one call centre using different numbers or maybe they’re able to fake the number shown on caller ID. I looked it up and apparently that’s possible.

Managed to get their name - something like High Street claims - they said they found my number through a survey, which is nonsense, as it’s a work phone I never use for personal stuff. I’ve reported them to TPS. Funny enough, they rang back while I was writing the complaint!

Got a call from these lot and they actually knew my address, claiming they’d send some white envelope with papers to help me get money back from way back in the 70s. They were really rude about it, saying my bank had done PPI stuff without telling me and gave me a load of false info. Just a heads up to anyone who sees this number pop up - don’t trust it and report it straight away to your bank and TPS.
