I'm pretty sure they had some info on me beforehand (they mentioned my name and a course I'd done before) which they used to make it sound legit. They said they were from the company that ran the training I’d taken and just wanted some feedback. That's all they asked for. I can’t say for sure if it’s a scam or not, but they definitely weren’t who they said they were.

these calls just keep coming, non stop and no voicemail left either. i never answer calls from these areas coz i really dont have a clue who they are and if it was important, they’d find another way to reach me. dont waste time with them. just one person getting caught up in it can ruin everything, and it could happen to anyone, even you!

I’ve been getting calls from what look like Tyneside numbers and have blocked loads of them, but they just keep coming. The worst part was waking up to a voicemail that was just dead silence. Some folks say it might be National Careers, but if that’s true, why do they not respect the fact I don’t want to be contacted? And why do I keep having to block numbers that seem linked to them anyway? Since I’ve blocked so many similar numbers and the calls still won’t stop, it really feels like I’m being targeted more than anything else.

Naturally, I inquired about which department she represented, thinking I'd hear something about the DWP in her response. However, she completely dodged my question. Then she had the nerve to ask for my date of birth, to which I firmly replied that I was not comfortable sharing any personal details with someone I didn't know. For all I knew, she could be anyone! I've never had any dealings with NCS. The number in question doesn’t match what’s listed on their site, although it does appear to be from Tyneside, which is where NCS operates. If it’s a legitimate call, surely they could just drop a message?

I’d like to share my experience with a firm called Echo-u. If you’re dealing with persistent calls, do give them a ring at 0191 255 8797 to voice your grievances. Personally, I’ve reached out on several occasions over the last half a year, asking them to remove my information from their database, yet the calls just keep coming. Phoning the number above will put you through to an actual person-beware, their system for opting out isn’t effective at all!

There's a business going by the name of Echo-u. If you're facing similar harassment, I recommend ringing them up at 0191 255 8797 to voice your concerns. Over the last six months, I’ve repeatedly asked them to wipe my information from their records, yet they persist in giving me a ring. The number I provided will connect you with a real person-don’t waste your time with their automated 'do not call me' feature, as it seems to be quite ineffective!

I reached out to the actual NCS, and they confirmed that this number has nothing to do with them. They expressed their concern over this fraudulent operation falsely claiming to represent them. I cannot stress enough the importance of blocking this number! Definitely do not share any personal information with them, as they refuse to disclose their identity or even their business address. It's quite clear that this feels like some dodgy company or possibly an underhanded debt collector trying to pull a fast one. Stay vigilant!
