after seeing my comment from 23.01.20 and getting a few more calls that i just left, i finally picked up. the guy on the line claimed he was with the national careers service, checking in about a cv review i had done there last year. honestly, i did have one at my nearest job centre. he even mentioned the name of the adviser i spoke to, which rang a faint bell.

I saw a missed call from an unknown number on my mobile, but I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know who it was. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. I barely get any random calls these days, so I’m curious how they managed to get hold of my number in the first place. I’ve gone ahead and logged it under "scam" in my contacts now.
