For the last week they've been ringing me multiple times a day non-stop. They never bother to leave any message, just keep calling over and over again.

So, this number kept popping up and I found out it was some firm pretending to do a survey for Bulb. I couldn’t find anything about the number online. Loads of folks said don’t pick up, but I gave it a go. The woman on the other end had to look up her own number when I asked because I wanted to ring back and guess what - it was the same dodgy, untraceable number calling me. Honestly, my advice is: 1) pick up if you want, 2) nicely tell them to shove off, 3) then just block and forget about them, or they’ll just keep bugging you like they did me - already rung 5 times!

Got a call today from someone claiming to be from Bulb after no message left from a call yesterday. When I picked up, they asked me to confirm my name and email. I asked for some proof they were really from Bulb, like an account number, but they said they had it but couldn’t share it with me. They told me to look on Bulb's website to verify the phone number they were calling from, but it wasn’t listed there. Could be legit, but since they couldn't back it up, I didn't give any details. They were quite polite though.

Yep, this was definitely a scam. The bloke said he was from Bulb energy and wanted my account details. I told him I wasn’t giving anything out since I didn’t know if he was legit, and he just ended the call straight away. I’ve never had a call from Bulb before, only emails. So don’t fall for it, even if you’re switching your energy supplier.
