Some people called saying they were from ESB, some energy firm or something. For some daft reason, I actually gave them my bank details over the phone. Now I’m nervously waiting for my current energy provider to reach out so I can finalise the switch. They said they’d email me tonight from ESB but nothing’s come through yet. Doesn’t look too promising.
