Got a call from some energy supplier board thing. They asked how long I’d been with my current supplier and where I live. Kinda confused what they wanted as I just moved recently, so they lost interest. Think they’re trying to get you to switch to them though. The number showed up as a Durham one and if you don’t pick up, they ring back again.

I have this nagging suspicion it's some form of scam; it seems pretty obvious they’re trying to prompt me into calling them back, which is simply not on the cards for me.

Got calls from this number about four times since 9 o’clock Monday morning, all within a day, so I'm guessing it’s from some call centre. It only rings a couple of times so you don’t even get a chance to pick up. Even after blocking it on my phone, the calls keep coming through. It’s the first cold call I’ve had since lockdown ended, so maybe some folks are starting work again!
