The person claimed to be from Amazon, stating that a driver was at my address, and even mentioned my mother's name, which is quite clever since I had indeed placed an order for her via Amazon. This number rang me twice, once around 2 in the morning and then again at 5am. If they were legit Amazon calling from Uxbridge, surely they’d realize most folks aren’t gonna pick up at those hours. Watch out for this con! Received a call claiming to be from Amazon, stating that their delivery driver couldn't locate our residence. I was anticipating another package as well. They asked me to confirm my address starting with the house number. The person was quite articulate and even suggested they could send me an email if I felt hesitant about sharing it over the phone. It struck me that our landline wasn’t connected to our account, though! So, I requested the email-without revealing my own email address-and guess what? No email ever came through. I've since blocked that number!
