My hearing isn’t the best, so I struggled to catch everything, but I did pick up on an American voice and the mention of 'refund' and 'PPI'. I ended up saying, 'Clear off' and hung up. I’m now considering a tactic I came across, which involves feigning interest, then going, 'Hang on a sec, there’s someone at the door,' and just setting the phone down quietly. If more people did this, it could really hurt their profits-costly calls with no returns!
