10 hoursI got a call from a woman pretending to be from Eon. She wanted me to speak to their accounts department to check some details, saying there was a billing error. It sounded like an Indian call centre. When I asked for more info because I don’t deal with invoices, she said I was wasting her time. I just ended the call.Eon13 hoursGot a call supposedly from Yu Energy saying there was an issue with my account. I mentioned her number was linked to known scam calls, but she kept denying it. I told her I'd just end the call and ring our energy provider myself... then she dropped the call.Yu Energy16 hoursSo, someone rings me up saying they’re from British Gas, my energy provider. Problem is, we ain’t with British Gas at all. I made it clear right then to stop calling. But guess what? They phoned me another four times after that! Kept hanging up each time. Finally, had to block the number.British Gas2 daysThis bloke kept ringing me, saying he was from the gas company, but when I checked with my actual energy provider, they said everything was fine. He just wouldn't let it go and kept blowing my phone up, acting like he was with the energy supplier. Proper annoying!Submit Your Own Report (020 4539 6398)
