Got a call from a Paul Smith, sounded like he had a pretty thick Indian accent. He was asking loads of personal stuff - like how old I am, what I do for work, if I own my home, all that. I said I wasn’t answering but he just kept going on. Wouldn’t say his number or even repeat the name of the company he was ringing from. Proper dodgy.

Got a call from a bloke claiming he was with Nationwide, asking if I was happy with my bank. Told him I already bank with Nationwide and things were alright. Then he asked if I was under 79 and wanted me to confirm my postcode. Said it was a "feedback" call - feedback for what exactly? The only half-decent bit was when he gave me the wrong first name and I just went along with it. Bit fishy if you ask me. Anyway, blocked the number straight away.

Just a bit ago my mum got a call from this number, they was askin' for me (her daughter). She noticed a lot of laughing in the background so she said she didn’t feel right and was about to hang up. Then the bloke started shouting swearin' down the phone as she ended the call. Not sure what his deal was. Sounds like some bloke foreign. Proper aggressive. Bet they’re tryna nick credit or money for some dodgy scam. Best to ignore it!

####bit of a scam really. Got a call from a place saying Denuo Data Response, but after a bit of digging, they don’t actually exist. There’s a Denuo Data legit company, but not this one. It seems like its mostly Asian callers ringing these numbers, asking who I am, if I’ve got a washing machine, how old it is and the brand. They also got my postcode wrong, gave me 2 different numbers where the last digits of GHD were off. Is there any way to put a stop to these calls?

A woman rang claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service, saying they were updating their system to include offshore numbers alongside UK ones. She tried to get me to give out all my bank card details, including the full number on the card. When I said no, she passed me to a supervisor who asked again, but I still declined. Then a manager came on the line and made the same request. I kept refusing and eventually the call was abruptly ended. They were really pushy and quite unpleasant.
