I dialled the number again but added 141 before it, hoping to reach someone. Instead, an American voicemail came on saying, “this number is not in service please try again” - which honestly makes no sense at all. Pretty sure it’s a total scam.

Picked up the call but they just hung up straight away. My phone showed it as a spam number too. I’m on the do not call list, so I shouldn’t be getting any sales pitches at all. This seems like a scam to me, doesn’t come from anywhere legit. Plus, I’ve noticed bots dial out at random to check if someone picks up. Once you do, you end up getting loads more calls, which I’m bracing for since I didn’t check who it was before answering.
