It’s one of those auto diallers, right? They just go down a list and when you pick up, if someone’s free they’ll jump on and hit you with their sales spiel. If nobody’s available, you’re left hanging in silence for like 20 seconds before it abruptly ends. These kinds of robo calls should honestly be banned, they can really scare or annoy folks. Whenever I do catch a live person, I usually ask, “Are you using an auto dialler?” If they admit it, or even just start talking, I hang up straight away and block the number.

Every morning around 10:15, I get a call from this number and it’s really starting to annoy me. Whenever I pick up, there’s no one on the line.

I got a call but all I heard was silence. When I rang the number back, it said it was 'unrecognised'. My number should be private and I’m on the TPS list, so I’ve gone ahead and reported it to both the ICO and Ofcom. These calls keep flooding in every single day - stuff about accident claims, double glazing, solar panels, oven cleaning, you name it. Honestly, it’s driving me mad.

I've received a call from this number and now I tend to just answer without saying anything. It seems that this stops those pesky automated messages from kicking in. Just had another nutter ring me, when will it stop? Probably never! These greedy phone companies are making a fortune by passing your number to scammers. They actually eavesdrop on your calls, picking up key words. Don’t believe me? Try it yourself. Call a mate and mention you’re planning to buy a car, maybe something about getting new windows or going on holiday. I guarantee in a couple of days you’ll be bombarded with flyers and calls from all sorts of firms. Try saying something random to your pals and keep track of what you said. You’ll be amazed what turns up!

On the morning of Wednesday, the 9th of August 2017 at around 10:20 am, I received a phone call that disrupted my activities. I had to pause, wash my hands, and attend to the phone. To my dismay, it turned out to be an automated message. A woman's voice was on the line, trying to lure me in with promises of access to millions in government grants for home renovations or some such nonsense. I found it rather irritating as it was plainly a waste of my precious time. We're fully signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so such calls really shouldn't be happening. We have absolutely no intention of engaging with unsolicited callers.

I recently received a rather suspect phone call inquiring whether I was a Sky customer. It felt off from the outset, so I told the caller that I didn't reside at the property and had no clue about which service provider we used. He responded with a rather shocked "what!" and then pressed me again about whether I had Sky TV. I simply replied in the negative.
