Its really risky and also super frustrating, plus when you pick up they just end the call. These days, all it takes is picking up the phone or clicking on a mail for these scams to work. Sadly, while tech makes life easier, its also a big downside for our privacy and safety. Best bet is to not pick up, then the ringing usually stops when you ignore it.
