Quick call centre sounds then just ended suddenly.

At first they said they were from "The Review Department". When I rang back showing my number, they claimed I had a policy with LV=. I told them I didn’t, and the guy asked, “Would you be interested then?” I said sure, go ahead. When I phoned again with my number hidden, saying I was returning a call and couldn’t find anything about 'The Review Department', they suddenly said they were from Oakland Financial Management. Asked about my policy again and they switched to saying it was life insurance with Aviva! I just BLOCKED them. - Typical spam calls pushing life insurance.

Just got a call frm 01792 917252, claimed to be from the Policy Review Dept. They wouldn’t say how they got my info, just kept saying "you probably agreed some time ago." Promised to take me off their list. Fingers crossed they actually do!

They claimed to be from some insurance review team and said it was time to check over my life insurance. But my life cover is through my Pension and sorted by my job, so I know this lot are just taking the mick. They’ve been ringing me constantly on both my landline and mobile for weeks. Eventually, I got fed up and started giving them a taste of their own medicine whenever they call.

NON STOP RINGING! From some review team - they refused to tell me their company name, trading address, or where they even got my number from. I tried calling back and when I answered, a voice said press 5 for someone to call you back. When I asked them for some info, the woman swore at me and just hung up! Lovely behaviour.

Got a call from Secure for Life Insurance, said they were connected to my insurer (they even knew which one, so think they've leaked my info). They said they could either boost my coverage or lower my bills. I went along with it and later got a call from one of their 'experts' who told me I was getting a great deal.

Got a call from this fake outfit claiming to be doing a pension review and said they were from my pension firm. I told them I’d call my actual pension advisor on his mobile to verify what they were saying. Suddenly, they just cut the call!! Total scam artists, absolute liars!!! DO NOT SHARE ANY DETAILS WITH THEM!!!!!!

I've been receiving persistent calls from this number every day. I picked up the phone just the once, but the line went silent after a couple of seconds. It struck me as a telemarketing call, especially with the background sounds of what felt like an office buzzing away.

Some bloke called me out of the blue, waffling on about my life insurance. He was talking so fast that I had to ask him to say it again, and he just snapped back all sarcastic like, “What don’t you get?” I told him if he was going to be like that, I wasn’t talking anymore and just hung up. Makes me wonder if it’s linked to this bird who phoned a few days ago, claiming I'd won a £50 Marks voucher just because of my postcode. She asked loads of questions, including if I had life insurance. I didn’t give any proper answers, just humoured her.

I told him I didn’t want his “help” and hung up. I can’t stand these calls - if you want insurance, sort it out yourself, don't hassle me over the phone.

Got a call earlier today with a bunch of suspicious questions - you’d think if they were legit they’d have all this info ready already. The bloke, who spoke with a South Wales accent, sounded really fed up, like he couldn’t care less about his job. Kept moaning about how boring it is down in South Wales. claimed to be from aviva life insurnace linked to a mortgage! called my wife by the wrong name (bit fishy, maybe trying to suss out her real name?) and wanted to know our ages. sounded really dodgy. i told them i'd need to check with the wife first, which led to a funny chat about how all decisions have to go through her and i’m not the final call! now just waiting to hear back from them.
