I had a rather unfortunate encounter with a gentleman on the phone who was exceedingly curt and hostile. At one point, he inquired whether I held a current account, which struck me as rather odd. He claims we had a conversation the previous week, but that was nothing short of a fabrication! When I requested that he remove my number and details from their database, he abruptly cut the call. Quite astonishing, really!
