I can't believe this number has been flagged here for like 5 years and yet nothing’s been done about it. The authorities couldn't care less, and the ICO? Even worse.

Just got a call earlier from someone claiming to be with HMRC R&D, supposedly collecting debt on their behalf. Apparently, they've got me down for an outstanding case and said I need to settle up.

Don't be fooled by this worn-out scam, folks. Stay alert.

Had a really bad experience with a lady on the phone - she was so impolite and refused to accept a simple no. We even ended the call, but she kept ringing back just to hurl more insults at us! Such poor behaviour.

I got a call from some woman called Josie, claiming to be from Business Helpline. She was in a right hurry and pretty cheeky too! She wanted to speak with our MD, but called him by the wrong name. When I asked what it was about, she insisted she absolutely HAD to talk to him immediately and told me to transfer the call right away. I said no way. Then she asked for my name, and when I didn't give it, she started being really nasty. That’s when I ended the call and blocked her number. What a nightmare!

Got a call from someone named Josie who said she was with the 'business helpline' and wanted to talk to our director. There was a lot of background noise like a busy call centre and she wasn't very polite. Got a call from someone named Jossi about some HMRC business tax thing, something to do with Research & Development. Didn’t sound quite right, so I just ended the call. Pretty sure it was just another call centre.

Got a call from someone named Josi, asking for a staff member but she clearly had no clue about the surname. The call was about some Research & Development Tax Relief stuff. The people on the other end were really pushy and the whole thing sounded like a chaotic call centre. They obviously hadn’t bothered to figure out which businesses actually qualify for R&D before pestering us. I’ve blocked their number already!
