2 yearsI've been inundated with calls from 0333 034 2405, claiming to represent a debt recovery firm. The thing is, I have no debts whatsoever! The gentleman I spoke to provided a callback number, 01789 405051. After doing a quick search, it seems that the 0333 number isn't showing up anywhere credible, and the 01789 number? Well, it has been flagged as a scam. They are insisting I owe them £4,000 for an unpaid phone bill-strangely enough, that wasn’t even my husband's number! Little do they realise, I’m actually a solicitor myself, and I've told them to take legal action if they want to pursue this nonsense!2 yearsThey've called me more than 4 times on the 11th and 12th of April. Didn’t pick up, but left a message telling me to call back and give some Zinc group reference number? I’ve no idea what that even is, seems dodgy to me. So I just ignored the message and blocked the number. If it’s legit, they can always send a letter.Zinc2 yearsGot a call saying I had an outstanding debt with Bupa. I rang Bupa myself to verify and they told me it was a scam and I didn’t owe anything.Bupa3 yearsHad a couple calls from some lot sayin they’re from zinc group, sayin they work for sky. When I asked questions they just went dead on me. Lucky I work at sky myself and got no bills with them at all. Proper scam, stay clear. Sky never uses that number, so blocked it straight away.Zinc GroupSkyZinc3 years**Update from 22 days back** Got a call on my landline just after 9am (really annoying) not once, but TWICE within a minute!! They still haven’t shown me any valid reason for bothering me. I made a complaint, giving them my number so they could check, but I heard nothing back. Strange how they went silent for almost a month then suddenly began again after not finding any legit reason to ring me. This has to be a scam.3 yearsI posted about this 6 days ago and here’s a quick update. The last time I spoke with the woman, I asked her to have my bank get in touch with me if there was an issue. Nothing like that has happened! Instead, I’ve had two more calls since the 17th! The last two calls were silent, nobody spoke. Feels like harassment at this point. I emailed Zinc and they told me to call them back. No way, I’m not sharing any personal info given what’s going on. Blocking the number on my landline hasn’t worked either, the calls still come through.Zinc3 yearsZinc Group deal with chasing up debts.Zinc Group3 yearsThese lot keep ringing me up, saying I owe money to EE.
