Been getting loads of calls with no clear reason at all, real annoying. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and reported them.

Constantly getting calls and voicemail messages from them. They were asking for my personal details, saying it was to “verify they got the right person”. Honestly, just leave me alone.

I got a super quiet voicemail that sounded like an old tape, where someone barely said “this is a message for [mumble mumble]. Please ring back on 01702971401. That's 01702971401 again. Advantis have been ringing me and sending letters about a supposed water bill debt. Unfortunatly, the water provider has taken it to court and also sent me threatening letters about more legal steps. I’m not sure if the water company have actually sold the debt to Advantis or not. If they have, I don’t think they’re allowed to keep sending these threatening letters. When I looked up the real Advantiscredit company, all their contact numbers were different from this dodgy one. Any legit creditor would have told you first before giving your info to Advantis or anyone else.

Alright folks, just a heads-up - this lot that keep pestering you are a debt collection agency, claiming to be Advantis, although I've seen some puzzling names thrown around in previous comments. They've been ringing me and sending texts incessantly about an outstanding debt, it's relentless! Honestly, they don't seem to have any mercy, so it's absolutely vital that you verify if there are any debts associated with your name. If there are, I assure you, they won't give you a moment's peace. 😕 I've lodged a complaint, yet they continue to bombard me with calls. It’s particularly frustrating given my situation - being disabled and hard of hearing. They’re fully aware of my circumstances, yet they carry on calling me regardless!

I’ve been getting these automated calls from these idiots for ages now - daily, sometimes more than once a day. I blocked their number but still end up with voicemails from them. I even turned off my voicemail for a whole month, which worked, but as soon as I turned it back on, the messages started again. It’s such a pain in the arse, can’t someone do something to stop these spam calls? I’ll probably have to disable my voicemail again, which really sucks for people who actually need to get in touch and leave a message. Properly frustrating and borderline harassment.

Got a few calls from "Avantis" using the number 01782 971401. They left messages today (10/6), also on 7/6, 2/6, and 29/5/21. We hardly share our phone number, so it’s not called often. I usually prefer to be reached on my mobile. No idea who "Avantis" are or what they want. I’m based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.

Debt collection outfit - Advantis They contacted me about an alleged debt owed to Vodafone. I reached out to Vodafone to sort it out and pointed out that I had actually been overcharged and had a credit on my account! Yet, Advantis still insisted I pay an additional amount. It’s quite evident that Vodafone’s billing system is rather shoddy, and their auditing processes leave a lot to be desired-definitely needs better follow-up on their end!

Got two missed calls with a voicemail sayin to press one to talk to an adviser. Pressed one and the message just played again. Checked this site and now I’ll just ignore them from now on, cheers.
