I recently received a call from this company, but as soon as a male voice answered, they abruptly hung up. Quite curious behaviour!

My husband insisted we call them back, and we discovered it’s a debt collection agency pursuing funds owed to E'ON. The catch is, I’ve never been an E'ON customer! They seem to be targeting someone entirely different and are clearly confused as I’ve resided at my current address for over three and a half decades. Naturally, my husband is fuming and has told them to stop calling immediately. Honestly, a bit of decency wouldn’t go amiss!

I’ve been receiving calls from debt collectors looking for someone I've never heard of in my life. It’s quite baffling!

Received a call inquiring about my spouse. Turns out it was a debt collection firm hired by AOL. It’s quite shocking how they start trying to take advantage of you the moment you’ve been off their customer list for a year. Quite the con, if you ask me!

I received a call from this company, but as soon as we answered with a greeting, they hung up without another word. So, naturally, I had to call back. Turns out, they represent a firm called Advantage and seem to be involved in debt collection. They asked for our number but were actually looking for someone who isn’t here. After I pointed that out, they quickly apologised and claimed it was a mistake. Quite the mix-up, really!

I had a rather dodgy experience with some callers recently. Shortly after, I received an email from a company claiming I owed them seventy quid! I've been with AOL for nearly three years now, and I've got to say, these people can whistle for their cash!

Once more, I found myself on the receiving end of another phone call today from the same individuals. This time, they were hunting for someone connected to a different address, claiming they owed dues to Severn Trent. How on earth do these chaps manage to keep getting away with this? It's infuriating to be harassed over someone else's financial matters, especially when I thought my number was on the do-not-call list. I'm quite fed up with it, to be honest!

Yet again today, I received a call from the same group, albeit this time they were inquiring about someone else with a different address who apparently owes money to Severn Trent. How on earth do these individuals manage to operate like this? I'm being hounded over debts that aren’t even mine, and they keep ringing me on a number that should be ex-directory! It's absolutely infuriating!

I received a call earlier today, and the moment I answered, they hung up straight away. I've absolutely no idea who these individuals are or why they're reaching out to us. There's certainly no way I'm going to spend my money trying to ring them back!

Just a quick update to my earlier message, as I neglected to mention some important details.

Received a call inquiring about our spouse. Turns out it was a debt recovery agency working for AOL, trying to take advantage as soon as someone has passed away, particularly when you haven’t been a customer for a year. Disgraceful behaviour!

We reached out regarding a few unusual calls that my wife received. When we inquired about the identity of the callers, they insisted on referring to themselves as part of a business group and claimed they could only communicate with her directly. Despite our persistent requests for clarification on who they were, their response remained frustratingly vague. If they can't disclose their identity, then they shouldn't be contacting my wife at all. On the next occasion they rang, there was complete silence on their end. How odd!

I just had a rather curious experience with a phone call. We answered the line, cheerfully saying 'hello' twice, but the caller promptly hung up on us. Intrigued, we dialled back and a chap on the other end started talking about some debt collection matter-something to do with 'Fanta,' if I recall correctly. It’s puzzling, as we've never had dealings with such a company and, to top it off, we don’t even use AOL. I've quite no clue why they’d be reaching out to us!

They’ve rung us again and promptly hung up. It’s reminiscent of dealing with AOL's customer service, to be honest. The problem is that until we actually get to speak with these callers (who, by the way, seem determined not to), we can’t clarify the fact that we've never been users of AOL, which is precisely why they're reaching out to us in the first place!

I've been getting calls from debt collectors looking for someone whose name is completely unfamiliar to me. It's all rather perplexing, to be honest!

Received a call from someone searching for my wife. It turns out this was a debt collection agency associated with AOL. The moment you try to switch providers, they seem to come out of the woodwork, especially if you've been a customer within the last year. Quite the nuisance, really!
