I bought a new washing machine from Curry’s not long ago. A couple of days later, I got a call from this number saying my washing machine’s warranty was nearly expired. Thing is, I’ve never even had a warranty. Then they went on about my TV warranty being up soon, and before I could say anything, they told me it was going to be renewed, then just hung up on me. Definitely a scam call.

Somebody rang me saying my washing machine’s warranty had run out and that I should renew it. The thing is, the machine’s nearly 10 years old and I just get it fixed when it breaks down. Then they went on about my TV warranty being up soon and that I needed to renew that too. But the TV’s from way back in 2004, so there’s no way there’s any valid warranty left. Pretty obvious they were just trying to sell me useless warranties I don’t need.
