I received a call claiming to be from the RNIB lottery's 'Feel Good Friday'. They alleged that I had expressed my interest on some dodgy website. I straight up told them that wasn't the case and promptly hung up. They were quite persuasive, I must admit; I can see how others might get taken in. Better luck next time - I’ve now blocked the number. This marks the second spam call I've had today, the first one being from a different number altogether!

This number rang me today and a woman was asking for someone I don’t know at all. I’ve been getting a few messages and calls for this person, which seem like scams. When I asked where she was calling from and how she got my number, she said she was with the Royal National Institute for the Blind. I told her this person isn’t connected to me, but she mentioned something about "usweeps[###]" on 18/5/20?? Then she told me to call a company called Cohort on 20309494800 to take my number off their list?? I’ve reported everything to the TPS and also contacted my phone provider.
