Wasn't able to pick up both times, probably cuz they ring loads of numbers at once and just chat to whoever picks first then drop the others. Classic scam stuff. My phone even flagged this number as dodgy. Honestly, I enjoy chatting with these scammers and wasting their time and cash as much as I can!

No idea who it was. After seeing all the comments, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up. I really can’t afford to give to charities right now. If there’s a cause I care about, I donate willingly, but I don’t need someone hassling me or making me feel guilty for saying no. Using guilt to get people to give is just horrible.

This was from Diabetes UK. Had a chat with them, they're running some social media stuff about diabetes at the moment. (Also if you want to give a donation). They’re genuine, but the calls come from a third party company. They’re upfront on the call, telling you they get paid about £2.66 for each person they talk to on behalf of the charity. They don’t push for money or anything - just explain how your monthly donations are used (like for research and so on).
