Some bloke rang me saying he was from Friends of the Earth. He said it wasn’t a fundraising call, just wanted to say thanks for my support and asked if it was alright to record the call. I told him I don’t like random calls and didn’t want to chat. Before I finished, he just cut off the call.

She claimed to be from Sue Ryder and then asked for my name, saying her system wasn’t working properly. I told her I don’t share personal info and she quickly said “sorry, looks like there’s an issue with the line.” Might be legit but I’m not taking any chances. I’ve blocked the number now.
