I got an automated voicemail from someone saying they were from Cabot Financial, but I have no clue where they got my number from. They've been ringing me on several different numbers this past week and keep leaving these robotic messages. I've ended up blocking them all now, but they still keep trying. Very annoying!

They just won’t stop bothering me with calls and texts. Every time a number pops up, I block it and report the caller, but somehow they keep getting new numbers to ring me from. I don’t owe them any money, so it’s completely baffling why they’re pestering me like this. Plus, the name they put in their messages isn’t even my name! My phone has even labelled the messages as Spam or something suspicious.

Cabot Financial keeps ringing me loads of times a day, proper annoying. They’re really rude and won’t say who the debt is supposedly owed to but keep badgering me regardless. I block their numbers but then they come back from another one. yeah, cabot uses all sorts of numbers and areas, it’s a nightmare. mine is about some supposed debt from mbna who never credited a £100 payment on my card. even though i showed them proof from tsb that i paid on time, they just ignored it. after dealing with them for over 18 months of hassle, they ended up selling the debt to cabot. since then letters, emails and countless calls keep coming, all trying to force me into paying. mbna screwed up my credit file with the credit agencies for 6 years and now cabot seems to be doing the same.

WARNING - SCAM ALERT! I received a call from a male with a foreign accent claiming to represent a debt recovery agency. When I inquired about the name of his company, he flat out refused to provide any details. It quickly escalated into a confrontational exchange as he insisted on resolving a supposed debt. He pushed for my full name, date of birth, and complete address. When I pointed out that he was the one who had called me, he resorted to abusive language, hurling insults at me. That was the final straw, so I ended the call and promptly blocked the number. Stay vigilant, folks!
