This mornin alone I got about 5 calls in just a couple hours, mostly on my mobile. I reckon it's that Cabot Financial lot, they buy up debts from other firms. Folks need to be careful though, places like Reston Solicitors might try to push a CCJ on you even if you haven't agreed to anything with the company that holds the debt now. It's gonna get real tough soon, everyone watch out cause these companies don't always stick to the rules.

Cabot is a company that buys debts. If you pick up their call, make sure to get everything in writting from them. Send a letter or email asking for proof you owe the debt. If it turns out you do, try offering tiny payments like £1 to keep something aside. When you're ready, you can propose a much lower settlement, but if not, they can just keep the £1 monthly for now.
