I got a call from a number linked to a catering firm in Salisbury, but the person on the line claimed to be from Tesco’s tax team saying they were going to cancel my sim. I told them I didn’t use Tesco for my phone, which seemed to throw them off. Then they asked if I had an O2 sim instead. I just stayed silent and they got more rattled, eventually admitting they had the wrong number before hanging up. Definitely sounded like a scam. I’ve blocked the number now. It’s a shame that a genuine company’s contact gets used by scammers like this. Watch out for calls like these!

No clue who was calling, they didn’t even leave a message. Just blocked the number and got rid of it.
