Got a call saying £600 was taken from my card abroad. I asked them which card they meant and they went on about how many cards I owned. When I pressed for details again and said it sounded like a scam, they just hung up on me.

Got a dodgy call from some bloke claiming his firm was handling our TV repairs now, and the cost was dropping to £7.25 a month. Total rubbish, just looking to nab your bank info. Best to steer clear of 'em.

My mate just got a call from this number saying £600 had been withdrawn from her account overseas. She's recently lost her husband and really doesn't need this sort of scam on top of everything.

I think it was one of those dodgy scam calls. Felt a bit off to me.
