They called me a few times, like three, but when I tried to ring back, the call just cut off. So I've just gone ahead and blocked the number now. I usually don't pick up calls from 0172 or 0330 numbers - if it's something important, they should leave a voicemail. But nope, they never do and always just end the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me!!

Someone called saying £600 was withdrawn from my account, total scam obviously.

Got a call earlier that said it was from Bell Communications, but it was clearly from some call centre.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from a phone company, saying something about our business system. The number seemed suspect, especially after reading the other reviews about it. Definitely felt dodgy.

Been getting calls from loads of different numbers every other week, all the same scam. They took £600 automatically from my Visa card. When you call back, it's just some press 1 to talk to an adviser nonsense. Total rip off!

Blimey, the classic ‘bank card scam’ is still going around! Honestly, it’s such nonsense, I thought everyone had caught on by now! Total rubbish as usual.

Somebody rang up saying my debit card had been charged £600 in another country, but I never even left town! Felt like one of those dodgy calls you hear about.

I got a recorded call saying there was suspicious activity on my bank card because of a £100 purchase overseas. You’re prompted to push certain numbers on your phone keypad through the automated message. Seems a bit dodgy to me!

Got a call about tv insurance, they claimed I was being charged way too much and could save me a bundle for the next 3 years. They asked what make my tv was then said they’d connect me with their accounts manager to sort things out - then they just ended the call and blocked me. Problem is, I don’t have any insurance on my telly and since it’s pretty old, no decent company would cover it nowadays anyway.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from some smart club about my TV. But he was after someone else. When I asked who he wanted, he just ended the call straight away.
