Yeah, it was Vodafone alright. I didn’t want to share my info at first, so they sent me a one-time message. This really is Vodafone. They aren’t able to hand over your info unless you go through GDPR checks, cause they need to be sure it’s actually you, otherwise they’d be breaking rules. I was just asked for two digits from my passcode (which felt totally safe). After confirming my identity, they gave me all the details about my devices, offers, and upgrade timings. They even gave me an extra discount that’s now on my account. Honestly, if you don’t get how GDPR works, you’re just missing out on deals on your existing contract.

this is a Vodafone subcontractor ringing to push you into a new plan (probably a worse one). dont accept the offer, have a proper look about first, they push you hard over the phone. Maybe Vodaphone should realise that ringing folks over and over and then dropping the call when someone picks up isn’t exactly great customer service or smart business practice. They rang me a couple of times but dropped the call straight away when I picked up. I've gone ahead and blocked the number since then.

Someone rang up saying they were from Vodafone but when I asked for my info back, they couldn’t prove anything. Felt a bit dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Got a call from a Rotherham number claiming to be Vodafone. They tried to say there was nothing for me to be concerned about. When I told them I wasn’t bothered at all, the daft person just ended the call.
