Just the other day, I received a rather dodgy call from some unknown landline. The bloke on the other end insisted he was with Vodafone, raving about an 'incredible offer'. After doing a bit of online digging, it appeared that this chap has been pestering quite a few others as well. They claim to be voda but it's a total scam. They’ll try get u to give parts of ur password, then say it’s incorrect and want the rest. Basically, u end up giving them ur full password. At first I really assumed it was Vodafone ringing me, since the calls started off about once a month. Then it escalated to nearly every week, so I told them to stop calling me. From what I’ve seen in the comments, this is probably just a scam call. If you want to get a Vodafone offer, it’s best to ring them using the official number. Just a heads up, most call-blocking services have a cap on how many numbers they can block, so after a while, they might stop working properly. Scammers count on that happening and keep trying anyway. Any scams involving media or similar should be reported directly to the UK police via their Action Fraud site, and it’s a good idea to also leave warnings on here.

I've been getting loads of calls every day from this number. Since I don't know who it is, I just ignore them and have blocked the number now. They keep calling my mobile, not my home phone though. Really curious how they got hold of my mobile number in the first place.

Its been a few days they kept ringin me but I never answered. finally just blocked the number to stop it. total spam!
