I received an unexpected phone call from someone claiming to be a Housing Disrepair Management Officer. They were offering assistance regarding issues I’ve been having with damp and various repairs around my home.

Got a call from some robotic voice that asked "how are you" then said his name was Daniel and something about housing I had apparently reported. I told him he must have dialled the wrong number, and to my surprise he just said "goodbye" nicely. Sounds like a scam for sure, but the politeness makes it even more sketchy. I'm guessing it was some guy from Asia or Africa trying to hide his accent using some voice app. Watch out for these sneaky calls!

What a nuisance! This number buzzed my phone a staggering 18 times in quick succession-within a mere couple of minutes, mind you! This caller was defo a scam, his voice was all weird and robotic-like, really hard to catch what he was saying. Kept saying something about housing but made no sense at all, had to ask him over and over to repeat coz it was just gibberish.
