This number keeps calling me incessantly. However, after looking it up on this site (cheers for that), I’ve decided to just let it ring and not answer. I certainly don’t require any so-called 'debt collection agency' to get in touch with me. Honestly, it’d be brilliant if there was some sort of telephone app that could turn any mysterious incoming number into a name, using corresponding letters and digits.

Nottingham City Council (Council Tax) - NCC. They're breaking the Data Protection Act by handing over my mobile number and other personal info to Rossendales, who are chasing me for supposed Council Tax debt. I never gave NCC my mobile number, and when I realised they had it, I asked them to remove it from their records. NCC has totally ignored all my messages, and it feels like they’re up to something dodgy to dodge taking responsibility (abusing their position and probably more dodgy stuff).

My debts are with the bank so I’d hear from them directly, and council tax stuff comes from the council themselves. Such awful people trying to scare folks like this! I've had a rather unpleasant experience with the debt collectors known as Rossendales. I've diligently paid my council tax and have all my receipts to prove it, dating back to October 2017. I’ve forked out over three grand to sort everything out and clear my name. Yet, these chaps persist in resurrecting ancient cases, attempting to bully me into coughing up cash. Just the other day, I received a council tax demand for an ex-partner who hasn't lived with me for nearly a decade! I’m baffled as to how they even managed to get hold of my mobile number, especially since I've changed it multiple times since our split. Whatever you do, don’t part with a single penny to these unscrupulous rogues!

Had no clue who was calling me until I looked them up on here. I’m from Barnsley, so no idea why someone from Lancashire would ring me. It’s clearly not urgent since they never bother to leave a voicemail on my answering machine. It just feels like one of those dodgy scams fishing for your bank information.

Rossendales debt recovery keep ringing me nonstop for weeks, always with some automated voice telling me to ring back. Today I finally got through to a live person and told them they’ve got the wrong number. I’ve added their numbers to my blocked list and even changed their ringtone so I can spot their calls straight away. Despite telling them to stop contacting me, they just wont give up.

I’d recommend not engaging with them-just hang up if they ring. It feels a bit dodgy, doesn't it? They could be trying to track your whereabouts since your mobile provider might reveal your location once the call goes through. Honestly, the only ones who really have the authority to step onto your property are the high court bailiffs. Best to keep your distance from anyone else, in my opinion.

I’ve discovered that this number is linked to a debt collection agency named Rosendales, which operates on behalf of your local council to recover unpaid council tax. I’ve had my fair share of encounters with them in the past, and I chose to disregard their attempts to get in touch. In fact, I've gone as far as blocking them on my phone altogether!
