On the 26th of January, just after work hours around 5.45pm, I got a call from this number out of the blue. When I asked who they were calling for, they wouldn’t give me a clear answer and then just ended the call. I phoned back and when I asked again and requested to be taken off their list, the woman told me to stop shouting and hung up on me. I was just a bit louder because I was on hands-free and struggling to hear properly. I got annoyed because when I told them to remove my info, she kept pushing her scripted spiel and got frustrated since I didn’t want to engage. After they cut me off, I called back once more. Then, a supervisor gave me a bit of a telling-off for my attitude, suggesting I should listen to what they had to say. I got really mad and raised my voice over them - felt like chatting to a wall that thought it knew better. I insisted they delete my details, but he said I don’t have the right to refuse their calls and went on about how I should be polite to people calling me unsolicited. Honestly, I don’t plan to be nice when they won’t help me get off their list. I’m not sorry for raising my voice at those who think they can just ring me up and force their nonsense on me without permission.

I checked out the company name because I was thinking about reporting the cold call since I’m on the TPS and all. Guess it doesn’t really stop them.
