I received a call from this number claiming to be associated with Carphone Warehouse. I quickly informed the gentleman that I wasn't interested at all and requested him to take my number off their list. To my surprise, he responded in a rather drawn-out manner, ‘So you’d like me to take your number off, alright love.’ I went on to say, ‘Please refrain from calling me that, I’m not your love.’ He then cheekily retorted, ‘Oh, you’re not my love, you’re my sweetheart instead.’ I found this utterly inappropriate, reiterated the need for him to erase my contact from their database, and promptly hung up. Quite unsettling, to say the least!
