What a right scam this turned out to be! I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to represent EE, and she was peddling all sorts of mobile phone offers. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Got a call from some call centre in India, they started talking about something to do with mobile phones I think, but honestly I couldn’t make it out. I just cut the call straight away and blocked the number.

This number showed up as being based in Scotland, but honestly the noise in the background made it seem like it was a call centre somewhere else abroad. The person claimed they were from Virgin Media and mentioned my good credit score as a reason for having some exclusive deals. I wasn’t convinced and just ended the call since it seemed like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent, terrible English, saying his name was Shaun 😂. He claimed to be from something called EE Metric, maybe he meant the mobile network? I played along and told him to send the info by email since he supposedly had my number. Of course, he didn’t have my details at all. Unsurprisingly, never got an email from him. Classic scam call.

So I got a call from someone with an Indian accent, and they went on about how I'd get in touch with folks if I was after a new phone and stuff. They did apologise, but I told them they rang me out of nowhere, I have no clue who they are, so what exactly were they hoping for?

I picked up and the call just ended right away. Seems like one of those annoying spam calls to me.

Today, I’ve been called three times by numbers that look really alike. The last one actually said something but hung up right after I asked for their name. Just reported the fifth number - this is getting seriously annoying.
