Tried calling 01677188634 but no one picked up, and they didn’t leave a voicemail either.

Got a call from a UK landline supposedly from Bedale, North Yorkshire, but it was clearly from somewhere in Asia, maybe India. They claimed to be from the TPS and tried to pitch some scheme to stop nuisance calls. Honestly, it was just a scam to get your bank info. Best thing to do is not answer or hang up straight away and block the number. Really dodgy and not to be trusted at all!

Got a bunch of calls from the same number today, all sounding fishy and asking for loads of personal info. Definitely a scam, really annoying having to fend them off over and over.

This number kept ringing me non-stop, like 6 times from early morning till early afternoon, but never left a single voicemail. When I finally picked up on one of the calls, some bloke asked if I get strange calls alot. I told him he was one of those calls right then, and he just hung up on me. Weird!

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from the TPS. I told them to get lost and to quit bothering me, as I could tell it was a scam. Hopefully they picked up on that! After that, I just ended the call. Honestly, more people should stand up to these calls - it really feels like you’ve won a little battle against them.

This number has popped up about six times this afternoon. Every time it's been some bloke with an Indian accent, probably from a call centre. I've just stopped answering now whenever it rings from this one.

bought the bt8610 advanced call blocker recently and honestly, best purchase ever. since getting it, no annoying spam calls have got to me. it blocks anything not on your saved contacts so no unwanted caller gets a chance. a couple of times this number rang but when they didn’t say who they were, I just let it ring out. really pleased with it!

These scammers really need to be cracked down on. I’ve started using a call blocker and even thought about blowing a whistle if they ring again. Honestly, they’re the absolute worst. It’s high time the regulators stepped in and put a stop to these firms dealing with ‘dodgy’ numbers. Surely they’ve got the means to track down these crooks and shut them down if they actually bother to try.

Got a call from 01677222023 this morning around 11.25 on 08/06/18. The person said they were from the TPS but got really rude when I told them it was just another cold call and I knew it was dodgy. They asked “who said that?” like three times and sounded proper annoyed. I just hung up. Been getting these cold calls every day for the past three days, really fed up with it, especially since I’m registered with the real TPS and feeling terrible.

I keep getting these annoying calls. When I answered, I said "yeah, you rang me and you’re being a pain." He almost got my address right and asked for my credit card expiry date, which I use for my phone payments. I told him flat out I wasn’t giving that info, then he just hung up. I could hear a few people chatting in the background too.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the bank and said they had some of my dad's bank info. This bloke from India got really annoyed when I challenged him. He gave me a London number when I asked, but he was actually ringing from Yorkshire. Lucky I checked it out first. He kept saying he wouldn’t ask for any bank details and just wanted me to confirm my card’s expiry date. I’m glad I didn’t give him anything.

Got a call from 01677222037 claiming to be from TPS, saying they were updating info. The guy seemed to know we pay our phone bill by direct debit and asked for card details, like the expiry date. I told him I didn’t think he was legit and asked why he’d need that info if it’s supposed to be a free service. Told him my husband sorts out the bills anyway, and then he just hung up on me! Proper dodgy if you ask me.
