Got a call from someone saying they were with HMRC, trying to scare me about being arrested for tax evasion. They said if I handed over the cash right then, they'd cancel the arrest warrant. Honestly, it was such a silly scam. HMRC would never contact you like that out of the blue.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC again, total scam! They kept pushing me to decide on the spot, saying if I didn’t, they’d issue a warrant in my name and I’d be arrested real quick! Complete nonsense.

Just got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying if I didn’t press 1 right away, I’d be arrested! Such a load of rubbish, don’t fall for it. Honestly, these scammers have gone bonkers. Block the number straight away, they’re clearly off their rocker!

got a call from someone saying they were from the hmrc criminal investigations team. they said i had to pay up straight away over the phone or the police would be knocking at my door within a day to arrest me. i just blocked the number, seemed like a scam to me.
