Got a call from a bloke named Sam who sounded Asian, saying he was ringing from Carphone Warehouse, even though I’ve never used them. I told him straight up he was a scammer, and that my phone number's on the TPS list and I’d be reporting him to the Info Commissioner. He was trying to argue back but I just shut him down and blocked the number.

Got a call from some bloke named Marshall claiming he was from Amazon. He sounded really nervous, like he didn’t wanna be there or something. I jokingly said, “Give me two blinks if you’re being pushed to scam me somehow.” After that, the call just went dead silent and ended after half a minute or so. Strange stuff.

He even knew which networks worked on the Isle of Man, which seemed a bit odd. I said I'd have a look online, and he quickly said the website price was higher and I wouldn’t get that deal there. Obviously that’s just to hook you in - total scam if you ask me!
