Now, to set the record straight, I do indeed have a debt, but I’ve consistently met every single payment on schedule - never once late. In fact, I was merely two months shy of settling the entire thing. So, it’s rather perplexing why someone would ring me up with a tempting proposition of a 50% reduction just two months prior to the contract's conclusion. As it turns out, it was nothing more than a scam.
