I received a call from 020 3868 6648 today, claiming to be from O2, and they were prattling on about slashing my phone bill by half. Total scam! I suspect it's linked to The Carphone Warehouse. This isn't the first time I've dealt with this nonsense. I strictly visit my nearby O2 store for any matters. It's quite dodgy, to be honest.

I received a call from 01622 937876, and the person on the other end claimed to be from O2, offering me a 50% discount on my mobile plan. It’s clearly a scam! I've encountered this kind of thing previously, and it really gives me the creeps. Be cautious, everyone!

I’m utterly baffled! There was no voicemail at all. I tried ringing the number again, but it turns out it’s not even a valid one. Blocked them straight away. What a nuisance!

I missed a call from an unknown number and it didn’t ring long enough for me to pick up. I can’t think of any reason someone from the Maidstone region would be trying to get in touch with me. Received a call from this number at 12:51 this afternoon. I didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise it and my phone flagged it as potential spam. Based on what I’ve read from others, it appears many share the same suspicion!

I received a missed call just the other day—only two rings, mind you. The previous call was from “Carphone Warehouse,” and I must say, I'm quite perturbed they didn’t bother to address my inquiries regarding how they obtained my number. I can’t help but think this latest attempt would’ve ended up much the same way!

I found it really difficult to make sense of their speech because of their accent and the poor call quality. I requested that they ring me again, but unfortunately, they never did.

The background noise resembled that of a call centre. They didn’t seem to notice I’d answered; after a while, they mumbled something incoherent and abruptly cut off the line. What a pity, I was rather keen on having a good natter and tying them up for ages!

I received a call from 01622937876, and after a brief silence, the person on the other end, speaking in a heavy Asian accent, introduced themselves as being from Carphone Warehouse. They inquired about what phone I was using, which didn't quite sit right with me, so I decided to hang up. I haven't had any dealings with that company lately, so I found it odd that they would be reaching out to me.

Received a call allegedly from Carphone Warehouse, but they were asking for my mum's maiden name while sorting out a new contract. I've since cancelled my credit card, feeling rather foolish for not spotting the fraud sooner. They were trying to sell me a shiny new iPhone 13 on a two-year deal for just £27 a month!
