Received a call on my mobile from an unfamiliar number, but I chose not to pick up.

I received a call from this number but didn't pick up. When I tried to ring them back, the line greeted me with a message about Green Energy. Quite curious, really!

I inquired about a person I didn’t recognise, yet they were familiar with the number. The call ended abruptly as soon as I mentioned it wasn’t the individual they were seeking. They then called back, claiming something about green energy.

I would kindly advise against responding.

It seems I received a call from some sort of credit investigation agency claiming I owed them money – I ended the call promptly. It’s quite frustrating, especially since my phone is on the ‘no cold calls’ list. I’ve lost count of how many numbers I’ve had to block; they seem to change their number daily!

It seems there's some sort of debt scheme backed by the government, or so the word goes.

I’ve been bombarded by calls from various numbers, all of them fraudulent. They’ve been pretending to represent a debt consolidation firm, but I've got no debts to consolidate! Even though I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, they continue to pester me relentlessly. It’s quite infuriating!

I received calls from four separate numbers in just under ten minutes, which makes me suspect that this company might be using temporary or fake numbers for their sales pitches. Since my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I believe they are engaging in unlawful behaviour.

I experienced the exact same thing! Received a call from a number in Liverpool this morning, and it’s clearly a scam. I've been bombarded with these calls over the last few days, and it’s got me scratching my head about how my number is getting about. The only place I can think of sharing it is with Carphone Warehouse.

This bloke said he was ringing from a debt collection agency, yet he addressed me as Miss Ella instead of using my surname. I quickly realised it was a con and could even hear all that commotion typical of a call centre in the background. I let him know I’d be blocking the number immediately. Honestly, it was the most pathetic attempt at scamming I’ve ever encountered—truly an amateurish performance!

I’ve just encountered a similar situation with some debt collectors. I asked them to remove my number from their records, but they stubbornly refused to do so.

I answered a call from this number, but no one was on the other end. Interestingly, I received a call from Green Energy earlier today as well, with a Liverpool prefix of 0151 456 0687. They actually tried reaching me twice from that Liverpool number.

I didn't bother responding as they just kept going on about financial help. It was really irritating, so I ended up blocking their number outright.

In Maidstone, you won't find any phone numbers beginning with a 9. They typically kick off with either a 6 or a 7. Clearly, it's a scam or some sort of fraudulent activity.

I received a call purporting to be from the fraud division, and despite my clear indication that I wasn’t interested and requested to be removed from their list, they just wouldn’t let it go. The manner was exceedingly rude and quite abrupt, to say the least.

Absolutely! I just received a call from this number, but decided not to answer. Now when I attempt to return the call, it seems to be completely unresponsive. Odd, isn’t it?

Simply add that number to your block list. It's the same old story, really.

I had a rather cheeky encounter with a representative from a green energy firm who seemed rather full of himself. He was quite probing, asking me why I wasn't keen on switching to their services, even after I had clearly stated I would reach out if I ever decided to make a change. Quite presumptuous, if you ask me!
