I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent who alleged that I was part of a car accident, which apparently wasn’t my fault. She insisted that I fill out a survey concerning the incident and promised to assist me in securing compensation. It was painfully clear that this was a scam aimed at fishing for my financial information. Stay alert, everyone!

I received a rather peculiar automated call today, stating that I had reached out about issues with dampness in my home. The funny thing is, I’m nowhere near Maidstone—somewhere completely different and quite far away, in fact! I told them it made no sense and promptly ended the call. Straight after, I made sure to block the number. What a nuisance!

I received a call from someone insisting that I’d been involved in a car crash. Knowing full well it was all a ruse, I decided to have a bit of a laugh and strung them along for a good quarter of an hour. In the end, I mentioned, “I can’t even get anyone to fix my skateboard!” At that point, they abruptly ended the call. What a right laugh it was!

Received an automated call from a so-called “housing repair centre.” Definitely a scam!

I received a rather mechanical-sounding female voice on the line, claiming they were calling regarding a request for some housing repairs. The trouble is, I’ve never made such a request!

I received a call from a number I don't recognise, and the person on the other end simply inquired about my wellbeing before the line went completely silent. Quite mysterious, if you ask me!

I've been receiving incessant phone calls from some dodgy financial services company masquerading as a local number. It seems they're operating from a call centre and persistently attempt to persuade me to invest funds I simply don't possess. What a bunch of leeches!

I’ve no clue who rang me, but if it happens to be 123 Reg, surely they ought to state their name upfront? As soon as a voice began belting out a tune, I swiftly ended the call. It barely lasted a handful of seconds!

The caller mentioned it was regarding a small mishap I was involved in. They asked if I could recall the incident. I responded with a chuckle, saying, "Well, actually, I do remember." Turns out, I had been sleepwalking, hopped into my car and inadvertently collided with three folks. At that point, they just ended the call!
