Received a call from an unfamiliar number based in Maidstone. They didn’t bother to leave a message on my voicemail, so I’ve decided to cut them off and block the number, suspecting it might be yet another scam.

Received a call just a moment ago at 5:12 this afternoon. Luckily, I didn’t pick up. I've gone ahead and blocked the number on my phone—might be a wise move for you too!

I received a call from an individual claiming to be my housing officer, who wanted me to verify an issue I supposedly reported. I let him know that I hadn’t actually reported anything. He went on to mention damp and various other potential nuisances. I pointed out that their communication had left much to be desired, which seemed to ruffle his feathers. He promptly ended the conversation.

Seems like a dodgy number to me—I've blocked it as they didn't bother leaving a message.

I chose not to pick up the call, and since they didn't bother to leave a voicemail, it probably wasn't anything worth my attention.

As soon as I picked up the call, they hung up on me.

He proceeded to throw out ideas, like damp or other potential issues. I pointed out that they were the ones in the wrong, as there seemed to be a serious lapse in communication. After that, he abruptly ended the call.

Received a couple of calls from this number, but as I didn’t recognise it, I chose not to answer. I've since added it to my block list.

I received a call from a so-called "Housing Repairs Department," which they stated served all councils nationwide. When I informed him that I don't actually rent, he inquired whether I had any issues with my housing. Interestingly, he went completely silent when I pointed out that it sounded very much like a scam.
