I received a call from a woman overseas who warned me I might face losing my house due to the effects of the coronavirus. I made it clear I wasn't keen on what she was saying, but even as I hung up, she continued to talk. Odd experience, to say the least!

Just had a call from this number not long ago. When I called BT to check it out, they confirmed they were still chatting away and asked if I fancied taking part in a nationwide survey. I decided to hang up instead!

I was quite taken aback that the call managed to bypass my Sky Shield. A woman on the line, with a lot of commotion in the background, was probing me about my name and whether I was the property owner. I didn't catch the name of the company she represented, but she mentioned it was regarding estate management. As soon as I heard that, I made it clear that I wasn’t keen and promptly hung up.

It rang for a mere 18 seconds, and this is the second time I've had it happen today.

I haven't a clue who this could be. My phone rang and when I picked up, there was just a muffled sound in the background before they abruptly disconnected. Quite odd, really.

I've been bombarded by calls from this number lately, to the extent that it's driving me to consider getting rid of my landline altogether. It's utterly vexatious!
