I got a call from some pension review firm, and when I asked how they got my number, they said it came from my pension provider - which is weird cause I don't have one. When I asked if it was a cold call or sales pitch, they got a bit hostile. I told them not to call me anymore. But they phoned again today, and when I said the same, the bloke said he’d try again tomorrow, so I just hung up and have now blocked their number.

Got loads of calls from this number, finally picked up and they said they were checking about my pension since I hadn’t had a review in more than a year. I told them I only recently started paying into my pension, like 5 or 6 months ago, then got made redundant last year. They said there wasn’t really a need for a review then. Got the same call as loads of others today. The woman asked if I had a work pension or a frozen one. She kept calling me by my first name which was kinda odd. These calls all seem to be from Manchester (UK), so I reckon some phone companies like BT or Talk Talk must know who’s behind them, but they won’t be telling us who. Got a call on my home phone from someone who actually knew my name. They started going on about pensions and some statements I was meant to get. I told them I don’t have a pension so what they were on about, then they just cut me off. Really fishy.

They call me like two or three times daily, and when I pick up, they just end the call. Suspicious lot, I’ve blocked them now.
