Some bloke said he was from ‘AMC’ and had info about a recent crash from the other driver’s insurer. He started spouting all sorts of nonsense but when I called him out on the company being dodgy, he just hung up. I asked for the company’s address so I could write in and get all the info they have on me and demand they erase it. He said he was calling from Manchester, but when I asked for the exact address he claimed he didn’t know. I told him if he can’t even name the building he works in, he must be an idiot, and then he ended the call.

Some bloke said his name was Kyle Peters from ACM, saying he was calling for my insurance firm about a recent car crash. He already had all my info (name, address, and private stuff plus details about the other person involved). Don’t pick up if you get the call - be careful, they’ve got loads of personal info to make it seem like they’re legit.

Got a call from someone who said his name was "Mark". After the usual scripted spiel (you could tell he was just reading off a paper, no originality at all), I told him to find a proper job. Then he snapped, started throwing racist insults about my name. He sounded really angry and kinda scary too.

Somebody said they were from Whitehead Solutions, saying they were ringing for my insurance firm. When i phoned my insurance company to check, they said no idea who that was. Told the caller to stop whatever they were doing and he got really pushy, asking why i was refusing free cash. I blocked the number and put in a report.

YZ Solutions keeps calling me nonstop, asking for someone, but they refuse to say why. I've told them a few times that unless they explain the reason, I won't put them through. They just said they'll keep ringing anyway. When I asked for my number to be removed from their list, they refused and insisted on calling again. Very rude and really irritating. Honestly, I feel sorry for anyone stuck doing that kind of work.

YZ Solutions called me and some woman was really abrupt and told me I'd been involved in an accident. When I asked how they got my number, she said it was from my insurance and that I’d agreed to these calls. I told her I definitely hadn’t and that I’m on the TPS and planned to report them. She just snapped back, “well, go ahead then” and hung up on me. I’m proper furious! Enough that they call without permission, but to then be treated like that is just rude. What’s the use of the Data Protection Act and TPS if these companies just ignore them?

The guy claimed to be Nathan from YZ Solutions. Number was from Manchester but that business in Lancashire shut down years ago. So, who are they then? YZ Solutions or some dodgy ambulance chasers? Feels like they're just using the company name to trick you into trusting them. He refused to chat with me, said he wanted someone else and mentioned data protection. What’s the point of data protection if our number gets leaked anyway?!?

Got a call about a car crash, they wanted me to file a whiplash claim for me. I told them I could deal with the other driver's insurer myself and keep that 25% fee. The bloke went on non-stop for like 10 minutes, so he wasn’t too pleased when I just said 'no' and ended the call. Really cheeky.

i didnt pick up cause it didn’t show a number but then i dialed 1471 & got this one. its mad how you cant even pick up your own phone these days cos of all these annoying calls. everyone just stops answering now. but when my mum died before christmas, i didnt even realise it was the hospital tryin to reach me, cause those switchboards never show their number. its crazy how much damage these callers cause, you end up missin the important calls you actually wanna get. ive even put myself on the TPS too.
