I received a call where the person was adamant that I’d been involved in an accident through no fault of my own. Despite my repeated denials, they just wouldn’t take no for an answer! They kept saying they were going to get a manager on the line, and then bizarrely transferred me to someone else. They promised me a whopping £3,000, which was absolutely ridiculous, so I eventually hung up. What really bothered me was how much they seemed to know about me. Is it common for insurance firms to share personal information like that?
