The moment we answered the call, it was terminated straight away. When we tried reaching out again, the response indicated that these individuals were affiliated with a pension tracing service.

They keep calling me at the most inconvenient moments, like when I'm trying to enjoy my dinner or out mingling the previous evening. I’m seriously considering contacting the Telephone Preference Service so I can take action against them if these interruptions don't cease.

I received a phone call from this number, and they inquired about someone whose name rang no bells for me. They seemed unfazed by this and insisted they could still have a quick chat if I had a few minutes to spare. Whenever I get calls like this, I tend to add them to my contacts as 'Nuisance 1, Nuisance 2' and the like. That way, when they happen to ring me again, I simply let it go to voicemail and carry on with my day.

I’ve been receiving persistent calls from this number, and I haven’t a clue who it belongs to. They ring me constantly, but I don’t answer since I’ve no idea who’s on the other end. It’s rather annoying, really!

Yet another scammer on the line. Each time I pick up, it’s nothing but silence before they hang up. Have swiftly added them to my blocked list!

I've been receiving persistent calls from the same number as well, but when I pick up, there's nothing but silence. I've taken the liberty of saving it in my contacts as SCAM - just to remind myself to steer clear of it! Just a little trick to help avoid the hassle! 😊

Received a call this evening from someone claiming to be from a free service linked to the pensions authority. They insisted they weren’t trying to sell me anything. I made it clear I wasn’t interested, but they persisted, wanting to ask a few questions. I repeated that I wasn’t keen as I work in the same field, and suddenly they hung up without a word. Quite frustrating, really!

For the past week, this number has been ringing me incessantly, often multiple times each day. Whenever I finally muster the desire to answer, I’m met with nothing but silence, and they never bother to leave a voicemail. I reached my wit's end and decided to ring them back out of sheer curiosity. They garbled their name so rapidly in an automated response that it was utterly impossible to decipher, before swiftly shoving me onto hold with some dire tune. Naturally, I hung up in a huff. Turns out it’s this so-called 'Pension Advisory Service'. I’m definitely blocking them now; it’s infuriating how they obtain mobile numbers to pester folks. I’m off on holiday tomorrow and certainly don’t fancy accruing charges from their incessant calls!

They purport to be operating under the auspices of something called the UK Pensions Service, which, quite frankly, is a nonentity. When I inquired about the name of the company, they mentioned Scott Robert Outsourcing. I've taken the liberty of reaching out to The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS) to ascertain if there’s any truth to their claims or if they have any sort of legitimacy. I’ll certainly keep this thread updated should I receive further information.

If you keep getting calls from this number, be wary-it's likely a pension scam. I wouldn’t bother answering; they never leave any messages.

I’ve received a couple of calls from this number, the first being shortly after my dear mother passed away around noon. When I mentioned my loss, the caller seemed unfazed and kept rattling on, probing for all sorts of personal information-asking about my earnings from two decades ago, pension specifics, and the like. They claimed to be providing services on behalf of the pension service without charge. Then, to add insult to injury, they rang me again later that evening with the same intrusive questions. What on earth do they want from me?
